​Leonardo.ai, a Sydney, Australia-based AI art production platform for consumers and enterprise users raised $31 million in Series A funding from Blackbird, Side Stage Ventures, Smash Capital, and more.

​RYVER.AI, a Munich-based startup that seeks to solve the data bottleneck in medical imaging AI without compromising patient privacy, raised a $1.5 million Pre-Seed round led by Nina Capital.

🆕 Meta Reveals 20 AI Features​

Meta just revealed over 20 new AI-powered features in progress, spanning search, messaging, ads, and more. A summary of the most notable rollouts:

Imagine with Meta

Meta launches a standalone image generator, called 'Imagine with Meta'. It is very similar to DALL-E, Midjourney, and Stable Diffusion. 'Imagine with Meta' is powered by Meta’s existing Emu image generation model. It’s free to use (at least for now) for users in the U.S. and generates four images per prompt.

Meta Reimagine

Meta also launched a feature called 'reimagine'. This allows users in group chats to have more fun by recreating AI images with prompts. To use reimagine in a group chat, a user would first generate an AI image with a prompt using '@Meta AI'.

Meta AI Chat plus Reels

Another new addition is support for Reels in Meta AI chat. This could be helpful when you want to see visual examples of things that match your query. For example, if you were planning a trip with friends in a group chat, you could ask Meta AI to recommend the best places to visit and share Reels of those top sites and attractions, the company explains.

Meta AI Characters

Earlier this year, Meta introduced a set of AI characters, including those based on real-life celebs including the likes of MrBeast, Tom Brady, Snoop Dog, and others. Today, the company announced that 28 AI characters are fully rolled out across the U.S. for people to chat with across WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram.

Meta is currently experimenting with many more products and features.
